Semi-Automatic Firearms defined

Semi-Automatic Firearms are the most common and popular technology in pistols and rifles in existence today.  A video recently on Youtube reinforces this fact.  The video is from the 1980’s, Leroy Pyle’s argument is much the same as it is today.  What are “assault rifles?”  Should these dangerous weapons be banned?

This is a great vintage video with a former police officer explaining the difference in weapons technology.  It also includes government testimony about how the term “assault rifle” is misleading and hard to define.  Testimony about the criminals converting semi-automatic rifles to full automatic rifles is included.
